UBM has developed a list of services that keep vacant buildings in market-ready condition.

Because managers never know when they might need to show a building to a potential tenant, we can provide a monthly or weekly program to keep the building ready to show at all times.

Below is the detailed checklist for monthly and additional vacancy maintenance services.

Standard Monthly Maintenance

  • Remove cobwebs in building
  • Vacuum carpets
  • Clean kitchen/breakrooms, restrooms and replenish supplies
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Dust window sills
  • Clean outside entries
  • Clean entrance glass doors
  • Install deodorizers

Additional Vacancy Maintenance

  • Provide and replace interior lights
  • Monitor exterior lights and report when out, replace as requested
  • Replace stained or broken ceiling tiles
  • Detail clean inside/interior windows
  • Compound sweep warehouse cement floors
  • Wash building walls to remove bird droppings
